The #ECDToyDrive was successfully the largest digital toy drive in the world!
Mattel and their beloved Fisher-Price brand are leading the way in designing toys that teach kids essential lessons for successful Early Childhood Development (ECD).
Too many kids miss out on these types of opportunities. So in an effort to spread awareness of the importance of learning through play and providing toys for kids in need, the #ECDToyDrive was created.
GoodXChange partnered with Mattel and Fisher-Price to create digital opportunities for people to spread awareness of ECD, in exchange for a Fisher-Price toy to be donated to a child in need during the 2016 holiday season.
That’s right - every share or post with #ECDToyDrive resulted in a toy going directly to a child in need!
The video below was a Facebook Live that helped launch the Good Exchange. Together, Nicole Feliciano, the successful lifestyle blogger of MomTrends, and social media guru, Ted Rubin hosted the show.
This gave tremendous momentum to the toy drive, which was necessary for the hopeful goal of unlocking 50,000 toys for kids in need.
All of the content that follows was also circulating, serving as catalysts for more donations!

We did it! We unlocked 50,000 toys for kids in need!
Thanks to everyone who helped share the message of learning through play, Mattel was able to donate 50,000 Fisher-Price toys to kids in need this holiday! The toys were distributed through trusted organizations, like Save the Children, Special Olympics, and many more.
